We previously took our American Bulldog to Petsmart for grooming. Everyone there seemed to be afraid of him, and there was always too much stimulation making him very hyper. We decided to come to Elliot's and our dog has a wonderful experience every time he goes. The guys are comfortable with him and are always super friendly. Our dog is like our child, and they take great care of him every time.

Dear James and Elliotte,

I thank my friend Doreen for telling me about your salon. Vino and Truffles always looked well groomed and smelled good when I went to visit. So, I decided to try you out and I like you more each time I take my beloved Scout to you. Today was probably the absolute best grooming he has had thus far. He looks so handsome and cute. I know he will feel much better as the summer heat stays on and on and on. I always know he is going to come home a happy camper after spending time in your salon.

Our sweet little rescued dog Sugar had her first visit with Elliotte on Saturday...we had been taking her to Pet Smart but we were unhappy with the service..it was getting more & more expensive and we felt like cattle..I heard about Elliotte;s from our vet and so we decided to give them a try...we will never go anywhere else..we love Elliotte & James & Jessica...they could't been nice to us and Sugar loved them..She's a pom and got her summer cut and she will get another one before the summer is over...Thank you so much for taking such great care of our little Sugar...we love her to pieces and wouldn't just let anyone take care of her...

Rembrandt, my Persian, just returned from a trip to Elliotte's where he received his summer bath and tidy cut from James. All the dead thick undercoat is now gone, his potty patch shaved, nails trimmed, and his remaining topcoat feels like silk. Thanks guys for all you do for my boys!

I have been taking my dog, Diamond to Elliott's for over a year now and each time Mr. Elliott and his family of employees are always friendly. Diamond is an older dog (16 in dog years) with some health challenges and they are always gentle and take time to do a very good job. She always look and smells great after her visit. Mr. Elliott also gives me advise concerning different things to help her. I am glad that he was recommended to me.

We started coming to Elliotte's pet spa when we moved to Durham because everyone we met with a dog used him! We've been a few times and we know why he's so popular. Our dog looks beautiful after an appointment and he clearly loves animals. Unlike other groomers, our dog seems to enjoy a day at Elliotte's Spa.

You are the best! My Shichon's nails grow like crazy. Elliotte suggested dremmeling to protect not only bare legs but hardwood floors - a service I have opted for with each grooming (and sometimes in-between visits). I also battle a chronic ear infections with his floppy ears and Elliotte works wonders cleaning, plucking, and flushing them. Thanks Elliotte for making Brucester so much more comfortable!

I took my Persian who was in bad need of a hair cut and/or de-matting. We agreed that the only solution was to shave him. I must admit he looked funny the first few weeks, but James assured me he would look beautiful again within 3 months. His coat has returned thick, healthy, and manageable again. If you have long-haired cats to be groomed, do not hesitate to take them to Elliotte's - he can work wonders. I thank my lucky stars that I found them and would not take my animals anywhere else.

We love these guys. I swear they are the cat whisperers. Nobody else in Durham will even shave a cat, and they do it smashingly. Squirt doesn't seem stressed out. And last time we were there they mentioned that he seems to be having arthritis in his back legs, which was good to be aware of. The quality of the haircut is also so much better than we have gotten anywhere else.
